Gateway provides a full door-to-door container freight service in the South East, Northern, and Central Queensland, as well as the Northern New South Wales region. As part of our full range of services, we utilise the land based services of trucking and rail companies as well as coastal shipping operators in order to get you the best rates possible.

Ordering a container
Here are some helpful tips for you to consider before you make your decision about where and when you would like to take delivery of your Gateway Container.

Which direction will your container doors open?
Make sure that you will have sufficient space to comfortably load and unload your container once delivered. The position of the doors will impact how the truck is loaded, if the truck is required to unload the box and then reload to re-position the doors, additional costs will be incurred for the time taken.
What is the Surface of the site?
Is the surface smooth and free of obstructions? Does it need to have props (such as sleeper rails) placed under the container? Note that containers need to sit on reasonably flat ground (otherwise the doors may be difficult to open) and only require supports under each corner. Preparing the area will make setting up your Gateway Container much easier and faster.
Choosing the container delivery method
Ask your Gateway consultant which delivery method is the most cost and time effective for your location. There are 2 main options, tilt tray and side loader.
Delivery times DO vary
Transport delivery times are subject to availability of the transport vehicle. In most cases you will be able to nominate an AM or PM time slot, however we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time slot.
